About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Stockman Kast Ryan + Company. As a Trust & Estate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing high-net-worth client engagements, from tax planning through the review of a variety of tax returns. This includes preparation or review of personal, partnership, corporate, trust, foundation, and gift tax returns, and related tax work papers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with estate/gift tax subject matter experts to develop income and estate/gift tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Ensure clients comply with all applicable authorities while minimizing their tax and reporting burdens.
  • Prepare or review complex tax returns for high-net-worth clients and their personal holdings.

  • A competitive salary range of $107,500-$135,000 per year.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting or professional services firm specifically with high-net-worth clients.
  • CPA license or EA certification.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in taxation preferred.
