Job Title: Contracts Specialist

The Building People, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for procuring a wide range of design and construction services, supplies, and other services for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Procure design and construction services, supplies, and other services using various acquisition methods and contracting vehicles.
  • Provide direction and guidance to purchase goods or services, including market research and analysis for best pricing.
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines and report research and pricing to management to assist in acquisitions.
  • Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field or at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
  • Four (4) years of experience in Contracting or a similar position.
  • 40 hours of professional acquisition-related training.
