Patient Safety Specialist

The Security Officer is responsible for responding promptly to patient, family, and visitor situations that are violent or escalating towards violence. The Security Officer will work to protect patients, staff, and visitors in safety and security situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Enforce and adhere to all regulations and security policies/procedures of Cary Medical Center.
- Enforce parking regulations for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
- Input information into Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
- Law Enforcement experience preferred.
- Valid Maine Driver's License.
- International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety Basic Security Officer Certification within 180 days of hire and Advanced certification within 18 months of hire.
