Revenue Cycle Specialist

Cary Medical Center is seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our Revenue Integrity team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of medical claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain prior authorizations for procedures, tests, and outpatient visits
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Request and track prior authorizations from insurance carriers
  • Confirm prior authorization requirements prior to scheduling services
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles and database of individual payer files
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree or Medical Office Specialist preferred
  • Prior authorization and/or auditing experience preferred
