Job Summary
The Data Science team at Demo - Maximus is a group of highly skilled professionals working together to deliver innovative solutions using data-driven approaches.
We are a team of experts in data analysis, machine learning, and business intelligence, dedicated to helping our clients make informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced statistical methods to analyze operational data and derive meaningful insights for stakeholders and business development partners.
- Design and develop data queries, cubes, and reports using data warehouse, business intelligence, and analytical products to fulfill ad-hoc data requests.
- Provide insights and analyses around operations and project data, and inform operational partners on product performance and usage trends.
- Consult with analytical leaders to understand current and future business goals and strategies, and ensure that methods and work products are aligned.
- Balance accuracy of analysis with needs for rapid response, and develop partnerships with technical peers and business partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, or Machine Learning.
- Ability to present data in a simple, clean, and concise visual and written manner.
- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, Python/NumPy, MatLab, and SQL.
- Statistical experience and understanding of distributions, statistical testing, regression, and data mining.
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL and relational databases.
