About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement innovative solutions to meet customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog and digital circuits for ordnance applications
  • Perform circuit tolerance analyses using hand calculations and Spice tools
  • Develop requirements, refine, and comply with customer specifications
  • Generate test plans and test reports related to product performance
  • Perform test activities in all phases of product development cycle
  • Assist in failure investigations using structured tools
  • Generate material for design reviews for all phases of the product development cycle
  • Generate Engineering Orders (EOs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience
  • Experience designing with basic analog building blocks including differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, and data converters
  • Experience designing with basic digital building blocks including logic gates, flip flops, timers, and filters
  • Experience with power supply and power conditioning design
  • Experience with power conversion concepts (AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies)
  • Experience with serial communication buses including UART, SPI, and I2C
  • Experience with Temperature sensors, MEMs accelerometers, differential pressure sensors, and GYROs
  • Experience with general design best practices (e.g. EMI suppression, ESD protection, and Short circuit protection)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with 4+ years of directly related experience
  • Experience designing Electronic Safety and Arming Devices (ESADs) and Ignition Safety Devices IAW MIL-STD-1316 and MIL-STD-1901A
  • Experience presenting ESAD/ESAF/ISD designs to the Safety Review Boards (AFSRB, FISTRP, NNMSB)
  • Experience energetic materials interfacing/testing (EFDIs, LEEFIs, Lead Charges, Boosters)
  • Experience design for extreme environments (Vibration, Shock, Temperature, Temperature & Humidity)
