About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior IT Director to join our team at Jacobs. As a Deputy Director of IT for the IRES contract, you will play a critical role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and driving the success of our Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support reporting overall task order (TO) performance, cost, schedule, and mission success.
  • Be the secondary department point of contact responsible for interfacing with MDA and TO stakeholders and customers throughout the TO life cycle.
  • Provide on-the-ground communications and coordination, advocate for TO priorities, and perform integrated scheduling and de-confliction at the department level.
  • Schedule formal, quarterly TO-level performance reviews and status updates with TO customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure coordination, communication, and integration among the STIMs, Department Directors, and TO requirements, scheduling, and resources.
  • Internally coordinate and integrate across the contract with the Jacobs Team Department Directors to identify and integrate resources to meet stakeholder needs for their assigned TOs.
  • Partner between other STIMs and Department Directors to provide agility in workforce utilization, training, and tools.
  • Make judgments required for the planning, prioritizing and organizing a diversified workload.
  • Address complex challenges and drive forward despite setbacks.
  • Drive organizational change to better support customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 20 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 18 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 16 years of general experience; Master's degree and 14 years of general experience
  • Must have 14 years of direct experience
  • Must have 8 years of management or leadership experience
  • Must have current experience supporting the IRES contract
  • Must have experience working on contracts at the Missile Defense Agency
  • Must have training or experience on Command and Control Battle Management Communications (C2BMC)
  • Must have experience working within Missile Defense Agency.
  • Must have an active DoD TS-SCI Clearance

Desired Requirements:

  • Have a Master's degree
  • Have a working knowledge of and experience with Earned Value Management
  • Have extensive knowledge of IT systems
  • Have a working knowledge of the Missile Defense System or Missile Warning
  • Have extensive program management experience
  • Have organizational management experience
