  • Oversee the food services program and volunteers, including leading meal preparation, meal service, and clean-up.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including storage and equipment.
  • Order, schedule, and receive food and supply deliveries, checking contents and verifying product quality, content, and quantity.
  • Plan menus and food utilization based on the anticipated number of meals, nutritional value, donated and purchased food available, and budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of food items and track required statistics.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvements to food service areas and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant government and funder regulations and requirements.
  • Assist with all aspects of meal services for special events.

  • Must possess an MN Food Protection Certification or be able to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
  • Two years of relevant experience required.
  • Previous supervision experience is highly preferred.
  • Must pass background checks.
