Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Process financial information and provide patient billing details.
  • Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Demonstrate effective customer service and computer skills.
  • Order and maintain clinical supplies, office supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with established safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in unit performance improvement activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • No licensure or certification required.
  • Prefer completion of an accredited medical administrative assisting program and previous experience in a medical office.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to enter and process data accurately.
Work Environment

Full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.

Exempt from overtime.

Onsite work assignment.

Day job schedule.

Located in Lenoir, NC.
