Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and health plans by taking vital signs, history, medication listings, and determining chief complaints.
  • Complete necessary documentation in patient medical records in accordance with practice charting policies.
  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians with medical treatments, exams, and procedures.
  • Administer prescribed oral medications and give intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and visitors.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program required.
  • Current credentialing (certification/registration) with American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA-CMA), NRCMA, NHA, NCCT, or American Medical Technologists (AMT-RMA) required.
