Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the preparation of environmental impact assessments and reports.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts across disciplines to ensure high-quality analysis, adherence to schedules and budgets, and compliance with environmental regulations and policies.
- Train and mentor junior staff on environmental planning and project management disciplines.
- Engage with clients, including responsive and clear communication.
- Assist in preparing public presentations to decision-making bodies.
- Perform agency consultation and ensure environmental regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate confidence in decision-making and be recognized by clients and peers as having expertise in environmental planning and project management.
- Support business development, including proposal preparation.
- BA/BS preferably in environmental science, urban planning, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is desired.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience working in California; private environmental consulting firm experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with a large, multi-disciplinary team.
- Solid schedule and budget management abilities.
- Ability to travel as projects require.
- Problem solver and results-oriented.
- Competitive salary range: $74,000-$112,000.
