Environmental Project Manager Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our Long Beach, CA Remediation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with multiple projects, delivering revenues assigned from specific clients, and consistently completing projects without financial write-downs or multiplier erosion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet client expectations.
  • Conduct site visits, meetings, and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in environmental remediation consulting, with a focus on project management.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and PE License preferred.
