Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at Saunders Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, including administering medications, performing procedures, and recording vital signs.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
  • Prepare and administer medications, as well as record and report any significant changes in patient condition.
  • Ensure that clinic protocols are followed, including vital signs, diabetic foot care, and other essential procedures.
  • Order, receive, and handle supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records for the Nebraska State Immunization Information System (NESIIS).
  • Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times, and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • One year of clinical experience desired
  • Current Nebraska LPN or RN license
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
