Job Opportunity: Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the Institute for HEALing, LLC. This part-time or full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in-office, with a focus on providing ethical and culturally-sensitive care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health counseling and case management services to patients
  • Diagnose and plan treatment for patients, including completing clinical paperwork and advocating for patient needs
  • Make referrals to social services and treatment programs as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation with other mental health professionals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in counseling, applied psychology, clinical mental health counseling, or related field
  • Licensed in Maryland as a Licensed Counselor (LGPC or LCPC), Licensed Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LGMFT or LCMFT), or Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LGADC or LCADC)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a clinical setting
