Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee all aspects of our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, field labor, and subcontractors, ensuring a safe and timely completion that meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the installation of HVAC, Plumbing, and Medical Gas systems to meet code requirements, budget, and schedule.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of safety protocols in occupied hospitals and healthcare facilities, including infection control.
  • Evaluate estimates and set up job costing systems with labor, material, and subcontract costs.
  • Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals to reflect contract drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct monthly reports and cost reviews to identify deviations from the plan and schedule, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal customers.
  • Evaluate and develop field personnel, including workers, foremen, and superintendents.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment through safety meetings, incident investigations, and employee involvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in commercial HVAC and Plumbing, with a focus on large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work.
  • Well-versed in industry standards and competitors, with a strong understanding of Bernhard LLC's capabilities and services.
Travel Requirements

Estimated 30-65% of regular work schedule per month, depending on project needs and location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements
  • Climbing stairs.
  • Remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Pay Range

USD $87,500.00 - USD $120,000.00 per year.
