Position Overview:
The Mechanical Engineering Associate plays a crucial role in supporting engineering initiatives within the organization. This position involves a blend of fieldwork and office duties, providing guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other team members engaged in various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the Associate Engineer will:
  • Develop engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed cost and quantity estimates for labor, materials, and equipment related to construction and maintenance.
  • Offer engineering support to operational teams.
  • Conduct assessments of existing conditions and perform studies to analyze processes.
  • Identify and resolve engineering challenges to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive engineering documentation and reports.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and consultants, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Review plans and specifications submitted by team members and external contractors.
  • Prepare and analyze bid documents and conduct meetings to present findings.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of three (3) years of professional engineering experience, with at least two (2) years in a role equivalent to an Assistant Engineer or higher.

AND
  • A valid Professional Engineer registration in Mechanical Engineering.

Working Conditions:
Some roles may require physical activities such as lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions. Flexibility in scheduling, including potential weekend or evening shifts, may be necessary.
