Job Summary
We are seeking a Service Specialist to join our team at Save Mart Supermarkets. As a Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing remarkable customer service, performing store sweeps, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for customers and colleagues. You will also assist with daily cleaning, collect shopping carts, and perform price checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with each customer, offering assistance, and going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform store sweeps, focusing on front-end and entrance areas, to ensure a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
- Routine and daily cleaning of registers and belts, emptying check stand trash cans, dusting, and facing shelves.
- Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and maintain a cart-free lot throughout the shift.
- Perform price checks and assist with go-backs, returning items to their correct location, with perishables being the top priority.
- Assist Clerks to move lines quickly at busy times by bagging groceries efficiently and protecting the quality and condition of items.
Requirements
- No experience required.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Continuous walking, standing, reaching, and bending.
- Environment includes indoor and outdoor areas with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn, work hard, and have fun.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
