Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct CT scans and procedures to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.
- Verify patient identification and obtain patient history to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Administer oral and IV contrast according to protocols and follow proper injection procedures.
- Transfer images to PACS, UNCH's EMR, and other relevant systems, ensuring accurate and timely transmission.
- Perform other duties as required, including maintaining a clean and orderly work environment and precepting new employees and students.
- Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligibility.
- Advanced certification in CT within one year of employment.
- Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and maintain their registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
