Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work in our Emergency and Inpatient Imaging department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for operating CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment, as well as performing exams accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and related equipment to perform complex imaging procedures
  • Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and protective equipment
  • Perform exams accurately and safely, following established protocols and patient safety standards
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Graduate or completion of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification
  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) or willingness to obtain within 18 months
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist (Level II)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
