The Sales Account Executive I at Palram Americas, Inc. is tasked with addressing the needs of customers and prospective accounts, functioning as a vital support to our external sales representatives.

This role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including providing detailed information on pricing, product specifications, purchasing options, and offering market insights to the Sales Administration and Key Account Manager.

A collaborative approach is essential, as this position requires effective coordination with various departments such as Supply Chain, Production, Billing, and Shipping to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to assigned accounts.
  • Foster and nurture robust relationships with account partners, serving as a liaison between the company and clients to facilitate effective communication.
  • Work towards achieving both company and client objectives in a harmonious manner.
  • Handle all administrative tasks associated with existing accounts.
  • Respond to incoming sales inquiries, delivering exceptional service while building and maintaining enduring customer relationships.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings to ensure optimal product selection for customer applications.
  • Listen attentively to customer and market demands, making informed recommendations to clients and the Business Unit Manager.
  • Operate within the guidelines established by the Business Unit Manager to provide prompt resolutions to pricing inquiries for standard and special order items.
  • Review, process, and manage orders to ensure they meet customer specifications and guarantee accurate order entry.
  • Verify orders entered by other Inside Account Managers and provide additional training as necessary.
  • Collaborate with key departments to ensure timely production and shipment of orders.
  • Communicate any delays to customers promptly, updating production dates on orders as needed.
  • Engage directly with customers regarding forecasting, shipment scheduling, reverse logistics, and report generation to enhance service delivery.
  • Follow up with customers on delivery status, shipment tracking, and product returns.
  • Resolve inquiries related to pricing, shortages, and returns by coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Prepare detailed reports within set timelines, including weekly, monthly, and special reports.
  • Analyze data to identify customer trends and enhance overall satisfaction by addressing identified gaps.
  • Improve business processes impacting customer satisfaction through effective problem resolution.
  • Submit requests for new product approvals and material forms.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or Account Management.
  • A positive and energetic demeanor.
