Accounting Specialist

At Folino Estate Winery, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, performing monthly bank reconciliations, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and the state.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Responsible for accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors
• Filing and maintaining records of bills, payments, invoices, and purchase orders
• Making regular sales tax payments to the state
• Assist in reporting wine sales to PLCB & TTB
• Entering sales from POS system into QuickBooks
• Maintaining open line of communication with accountant and ensuring reporting is up-to-date

• Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience
• Good knowledge of standard accounting practices
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of computers, 2 years' experience in QuickBooks, MS Office, and point of sale systems
• Able to establish and maintain effective client relationships and communicate efficiently

This position requires the manual dexterity sufficient to operate phones, computers, and other office equipment. The position requires the physical ability to kneel, bend, and perform light lifting. This person must have the ability to write and speak clearly using the English language to convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels both in person and over the telephone.
