Job Summary:
The Tampa Bay Rowdies are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our sales team as an Account Executive, Ticket Sales Specialist. This role will be responsible for selling and servicing accounts, upselling existing accounts, creating new ideas and theme nights to increase sales, and performing basic office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Account Management: Solicit new and existing business for season memberships, group sales, premium and business packages.
- Client Relationship Management: Responsible for managing and maintaining all clients' tickets and information.
- Exceptional Service: Provide exceptional service to new season membership accounts, maintaining a great relationship with clients.
- Ticketing and Customer Service: Manage ticketing, including up-selling, and customer service of assigned clientele, while actively seeking new ideas and theme nights to generate revenue.
- Business Development: Assist in promotion and sales strategies for business-to-business sales.
- Sales Calls: Complete sales calls, identifying customer needs and interests.
- Event Day Responsibilities: Work and perform assigned event day and event night responsibilities, which will include weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Initiative Management: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Compensation will be hourly plus additional wages and benefits.
- Representative Role: Represent the Rowdies Ticket Sales department at various promotional events and in-game sales tables.
- Availability: Be able to work 16+ Saturdays during the Rowdies regular season.
Qualifications:
- Education: 4-year degree required.
- Work Ethic and Organization: Strong work ethic, organization, and desire to build a career in professional sports sales.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year ticket sales experience preferred.
- Cold Calling Experience: Strong cold calling experience.
