Position Summary:
The House Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of patient care that prioritizes the safety and well-being of all patients across various age groups during their assigned shift. This position involves collaboration with contract nursing services alongside the Nurse Manager and/or Chief Clinical Officer. The House Supervisor serves as a key link between the clinical nursing staff and hospital administration.

  • Registered Nurse

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Proficient understanding of nursing standards and practices.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and bedside manner.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to job functions.

Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in acute care or rehabilitation nursing.
  • At least three years of supervisory or charge nurse experience required.
  • CRRN certification is a plus.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of employment.
  • Must maintain ACLS certification.
  • Rehabilitation Nursing Certificate preferred.

Language Skills:
Proficient in English, with the ability to read and interpret professional documents and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret data.

Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills in various situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring quality patient care.
  • Evaluate patient responses and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate care delivery among healthcare team members.
  • Facilitate ongoing education and training for nursing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
