Position Overview
The Intake Specialist (ICE) plays a crucial role in managing incoming calls from potential clients. This position involves guiding prospective clients through essential questionnaires to assess whether the Firm can proceed with their case.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to all client inquiries received through the Firm's advertisement lines.
  • Accurately document all information collected, ensuring attention to detail in grammar, addresses, and other relevant data.
  • Verify addresses to guarantee correct entry into the Case Management Systems.
  • Thoroughly complete questionnaires to ensure no information is overlooked.
  • Document additional details in the Description of Incident section.
  • Follow up on unassigned leads within the Case Management Systems.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up on leads that require attention.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding documents from potential clients.
  • Handle a minimum of 25 live calls weekly, with the potential for higher volume.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks as requested by management.

General Staff Responsibilities:

  • Return all voicemails within a 48-hour timeframe (business days).
  • Respond to emails promptly.
  • Collaborate professionally and courteously with all staff members.
  • Provide clients with a positive experience and maintain professional relationships at all times.

While performing job duties, the employee must be able to see, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers effectively. Frequent reaching with hands and arms is required. The role necessitates dexterity in using a telephone, computer keyboard, and mouse while seated at a desk. Occasional standing, walking, climbing, or balancing may be necessary, and employees frequently interact with colleagues throughout the office. Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, such as computers, calculators, fax machines, and photocopiers, is essential.

Work Schedule:
Each member of the ICE Department follows a designated schedule to ensure adequate coverage of phone lines during peak times. Adherence to this schedule is expected unless a temporary change has been discussed and approved by a Supervisor. Scheduled hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ET.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $16
Benefits include:
