Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LVNJob Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide private duty care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with patients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and update the nursing care plan to meet the individual needs of each patient
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Assess and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for patients
  • Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
