Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

The Restaurant Supervisor position at Legends is a key role in supporting our VIP club food and beverage operations. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of staff, while also maintaining and controlling high volume food and beverage inventory.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, and training of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
  • Directly manage staff and interact with customers to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Maintain and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Train and educate staff on responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance with corporate procedures.
  • Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product quality to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are documented and enforced to prevent theft and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
  • Conduct physical audits of inventory and product to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Must be able to work fluently in English.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds up and down stairs/ramps.
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks, including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
