Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Joulé. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and experiments to ensure the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and measure chemical formulations, including detergents, and perform stability tests to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of fabric care products, including washing machines and detergent performance.
  • Record and maintain accurate laboratory notes and data.
  • Collaborate with the Laundry Lab group to ensure all applicable testing is conducted.
  • Utilize washing machines for fabric care projects and may occasionally visit the Rocky Hill site for testing purposes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related Science field.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience, preferably with wet chemistry techniques.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills and ability to maintain accurate laboratory records.
