About the Opportunity:

The Center for Communications Research - CCR-P: Princeton is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to participate in our Summer Conference on Applied Mathematical Problems (SCAMP). As a member of our research team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging mathematical problems in cryptology and contribute to the development of new mathematical theories and techniques.

Program Overview:

The SCAMP conference is a 10-week intensive program that brings together academic mathematicians and research staff to work on a specific problem area in cryptology. The program is designed to provide a unique opportunity for participants to engage in collaborative research, learn from each other, and develop their skills in mathematical problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on mathematical problems in cryptology under the guidance of our research staff
  • Collaborate with other participants to develop new mathematical theories and techniques
  • Present research results and participate in discussions with the group
  • Contribute to the development of new mathematical theories and techniques

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required
  • Strong background in mathematics, particularly in algebra, number theory, combinatorics, and statistics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
