Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze a selection of commercial loans from financial institutions to verify adherence to credit standards and compliance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assess credit risks associated with commercial loans and mortgages, ensuring appropriate risk grading.
- Review documentation related to loan origination, renewals, collateral, insurance, and necessary certifications.
- Document compliance with lending policies, procedures, and relevant regulations throughout the application process.
- Record observations and discrepancies for discussion with clients.
- Conduct activities in alignment with established banking policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Utilize expertise and research capabilities to navigate complex transactions, advocating for both the client and the financial institution.
- Apply lending and credit policies, as well as mortgage guidelines, exercising sound judgment in evaluating applicants' creditworthiness.
- Provide mentorship and support to Consultants, serving as a primary resource for inquiries.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required, approximately 10% - 20% of the time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in loan review, credit examination, or a similar field.
- Proficient understanding of commercial lending, agricultural lending, real estate development, and construction lending, along with the necessary collateral documentation.
- Strong grasp of regulatory policies and financial risk management principles.
- Familiarity with current financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to effectively communicate any deficiencies in loan administration or other areas requiring attention to management.

We believe in equitable compensation for all roles and value the unique experiences and skills of each candidate. The anticipated salary range for this position is $79,000 to $132,000, determined by various factors including location, skills, experience, and applicable employment laws.
Eligible candidates may receive an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
