Job Title: Cath Lab Radiology Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Radiology Technician to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Cath Lab Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for assessing, preparing, and positioning patients for procedures, as well as performing conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prepare patients for procedures
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Prepare and implement plan of care
  • Communicate patient's condition to physician
  • Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures
  • Set up and provide equipment and supplies
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Minimum of two years of current Cath Lab Technician experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/Cardiology program
  • Active unencumbered Radiology Tech Texas state license
  • One year of Cerner experience
  • ARRT Certification
Skills and Abilities:
  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise

A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers, and staff throughout the department and hospital.
