Job Title: Local Contract - Cath Lab Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team at a top-rated hospital. As a Cath Lab Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for procedures, performing conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring, and communicating patient information to physicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prepare patients for procedures
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary
  • Communicate patient information to physicians
  • Prepare and implement plans of care
  • Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures

Requirements:

  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of current Cath Lab Tech experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/Cardiology Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Texas state license
  • One year of Cerner experience
  • ARRT Certification
