This role is pivotal in executing resident activities within a managed community, encompassing all internal events under the guidance of the Director of Lifestyle and Leisure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle and Leisure Director to assess resident interests in activities and guide them in accessing the program.
  • Coordinate entertainment options within budgetary constraints to enhance resident enjoyment.
  • Promote all community activities to boost resident engagement.
  • Assist the Lifestyle and Leisure Director in organizing events, including planning, marketing, setup, and cleanup.
  • Arrange transportation for outings and medical appointments within the Assisted Living community.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team, addressing any unsafe practices promptly.
  • Encourage teamwork among colleagues, demonstrate initiative in problem-solving, and positively influence residents, coworkers, and visitors.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned or necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in Assisted Living.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and community relations abilities, are essential.
  • Commercial Driving License (CDL) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
