Geriatric Nurse Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at SummitRidge Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Geriatric Psych/Med unit. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care provided to patients
- Supervise and direct nursing care provided by other nursing staff
- Float to various units/shifts as business needs demand
Requirements:
- Current license to practice nursing in the state of Georgia
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Some medical background, preferably geriatric care
