We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Engineer to join our team at RWE. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining power flow cases for various markets, including NYISO, MISO, PJM, and SPP. You will work closely with our Transmission Managers to analyze project data and prepare presentations for developers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update power flow cases for use in PowerWorld and TARA, ensuring they are current with approved system upgrades and interconnection queue information.
- Collaborate with Transmission Managers on project analysis, including Greenfield analysis and presentation preparation.
- Participate in model development meetings and learn about assigned markets.
- Hold CEII approval at all times and maintain a high level of technical expertise.
- Minimum of a BSEE from an ABET-accredited institution or equivalent.
- Preferred 1 year of experience performing power flow analysis with an electric utility, consulting firm, or equivalent agency.
