Job Summary:

The Assistant Plant Manager will oversee the daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient and safe production processes. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Lead and motivate plant staff to achieve performance goals
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, materials, and overhead
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial plant setting
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety procedures
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Basic electrical knowledge and moderate to advanced computer skills

Working Conditions:

The Assistant Plant Manager will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with regular exposure to manufacturing odors and occasional use of personal protective equipment. The position requires the ability to work at night and travel up to 10% of the time.
