Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Sales Associate to join our team at Eataly North America. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product quality, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stocking and Display: Stock, rotate, and face fresh produce products according to department procedure, ensuring quality and freshness and limiting shrink.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting customers, taking special orders, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Product Receiving: Receive product deliveries, ensure order and invoice accuracy, and note discrepancies according to established departmental procedures to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Visual Merchandising: Check to ensure that all floor sets, visual presentations, signage placement, etc. are faced and merchandised attractively as per quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Actively ensure all items are rotated by first in first out (FIFO) standards and maintain a safe and clean work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate respectfully and effectively with customers on upcoming events, new merchandise, and product replenishment to increase sales.
Requirements
  • Availability: Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. in weight.
  • Skills: Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions, perform simple mathematical calculations, and effectively multitask and organize workflow.
