Position Classification

This role is classified as part-time, aligning with federal health reform regulations. For these regulations, part-time work is defined as averaging 29 hours or less per week. This average is determined over a designated measurement period rather than on a weekly basis. Work hours may vary based on business needs and scheduling. An increase in hours does not alter the part-time classification of the position.

Federal regulations require employers to track employee hours to assess potential health plan eligibility. If hired, your hours will be monitored over a 12-month period starting from your first day of employment. If eligibility is established at the end of this period, coverage will be offered for the subsequent 12 months, with no retroactive availability.
