Job Summary

The Pearl at Jamestown is seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join their team in the kitchen.

This role is responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining sanitary conditions, and adhering to production sheets and instructions.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, culinary apprenticeship or training, and one year of job-related experience.

They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, rotating menus, and ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures.

This is a part-time position with a schedule of 10A-6P Saturday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals in a timely manner
  • Maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen
  • Adhere to production sheets and instructions
  • Prepare special dietary needs as directed
  • Organize work to meet production and service requirements
  • Monitor food items for temperature, taste, and quality
  • Record equipment temperatures, refrigerator temperatures, and cooking temperatures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary apprenticeship or training
  • One year of job-related experience
  • Current SERV Safe certificate or ability to participate in training
