Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular patrols of both internal and external areas to monitor client activities and the overall condition of the facilities.
  2. Engage with visitors, verifying their identities to maintain security protocols.
  3. Respond to emergency situations with confidence, including the ability to contact emergency services when necessary.
  4. Maintain detailed and accurate records in the night monitor log to keep all staff informed about client and facility status.
  5. Act as a liaison between residents and Client Advocates, reporting any rule violations promptly.
  6. Communicate professionally with clients and staff to foster a positive atmosphere and enhance self-esteem.
  7. Ensure that the facility meets health and safety standards through regular cleanliness checks.
  8. Perform random inspections of resident rooms to ensure compliance with program rules.
  9. Complete nightly checks of all housing properties to ensure safety and security.
  10. Serve as the primary point of contact for housing clients during shifts.
  11. Collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients to create a supportive environment.
  12. Follow supervisor instructions diligently and contribute to a harmonious workplace.
  13. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirement includes a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with underserved populations is preferred, along with three years of general work experience. Candidates must pass a drug screening and background check.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
  • Patience and non-judgmental approach when assisting clients.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.

Schedule: This position offers variable overnight schedules, primarily on weekends.
