Job Title: Medical Practice Site Manager

At Oklahoma Arthritis Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Practice Site Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Medical Practice Site Manager will provide technical support and leadership to supervisors and leads at a given site, ensuring the highest quality of customer service is provided at all delivery systems within the practice. This role will also provide administrative support in areas of compliance, regulations, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the practice location in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Work with the Executive Director and administration to set operational and financial goals for the practice location.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and coaching to local managers, supervisors, and leads.
  • Communicate changes in regulations, compliance, and procedures to the team.
  • Coordinate with HR regarding performance appraisals, promotions, and terminations within the local practice site.
  • Responsible for local practice site audits and facilities management, including security issues.
  • Conduct regular meetings with local managers, supervisors, and leads to discuss performance and goals.
  • Responsible for staff planning and coordination, including scheduling work hours as established by administration.
  • Lead employees at the local practice and be responsible for leadership, performance management, and hiring of employees within the location.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced supervisory experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of medicine and the practice of medicine.
  • Knowledge of business management, basic accounting principles, and the principles and practices of a healthcare facility.
  • Familiarity with relevant insurance regulations and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Understanding of coding and reimbursement systems, risk management, and performance improvement.
Working Conditions:

The Medical Practice Site Manager will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to sit for long periods, perform data entry, and view computer screens. Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and biohazards may be required. Daily standing, walking, bending, and maneuvering may also be necessary. Lifting up to 50 pounds or more may be required to transfer and/or turn patients with and without assistive devices.

Travel and Working Hours:

Travel may be required. Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays. Hours may vary depending on the needs of the position, department, and clinic.
