We are actively seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our award-winning team as a PBX Operator / Receptionist. This role is a vital part of our hospital's operations, responsible for answering the switchboard, pages, and directing visitors to the appropriate departments.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of hospital policies and procedures are preferred.

Responsibilities

As a PBX Operator / Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Answering the switchboard and pages, and directing visitors to the appropriate departments.
  2. Maintaining awareness of hospital emergency codes and policies.
  3. Providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  4. Working effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  2. Previous PBX experience is preferred, but not required.
  3. Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

This role works every other Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am-8:30pm, at our Main Lobby front desk. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, visitors, and staff, and must be able to maintain a high level of focus and concentration throughout your shift.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, with an estimated annual salary of $45,000, based on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
