Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Superintendent to oversee all phases of our construction projects located within the US. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors, managing compliance with established site rules and company safety policies, and overseeing overall production and related quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for site safety, ensuring the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors, and managing compliance with established site rules and company safety policies.
  • Oversee overall production and related quality, implementing necessary changes as required.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, project managers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor performance against plans, specifications, and work instructions, and report project status against cost and delivery targets to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure on-time and within-budget completion of projects.
  • Manage quality control, statutory documentation, and compliance with quality, safety standards, and conditions of the contract.
  • Identify problems and provide solution ideas and advice.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational, supervisory, and leadership skills required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both oral and written.
  • High-caliber team player, willing to assume duties responsibly and customer-oriented.
  • Flexible, open-minded, and prepared to adapt to other cultures.
  • Ability to foster a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years in foundations and ground engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated work experience as a superintendent on special foundation construction sites or adequate combination of education, training, and experience.
