Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments to identify functional limitations associated with patient diagnoses.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans aimed at reducing or resolving identified functional impairments.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities including thermotherapy, electrotherapy, exercise regimens, postural training, gait training, soft tissue mobilization, and training for independent living.
  • Maintain objective documentation of patient progress towards symptom alleviation and functional restoration.
  • Engage with a diverse patient demographic, encompassing adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to physical therapist assistants to ensure the achievement of patient care objectives.
  • Report directly to the Manager of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with indirect supervision from the Lead Physical Therapist.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Licensure must be displayed at the primary work location.

Preferred:

  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is advantageous, although new graduates will be considered.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
