Job SummaryBrick Staffing, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive estimates for electrical projects, including conceptual, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to plan and execute electrical projects.
  • Analyze construction documents, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Develop and maintain estimating cost databases, track past productivity rates, and track historical pricing for subcontractors.
  • Assemble bid tabs, populate bid forms, and create pricing breakouts for electrical projects.
  • Consult with customers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to discuss and formulate estimates, cost reduction options, and resolve issues.
  • Clarify scope with customers, architects, and engineers, and prepare proposal RFI's.
  • Study specifications to assist the production team in planning procedures for electrical construction.
  • Research construction documents and analyze specifications to determine estimated costs.
  • Work with the production team to review plans and specifications for constructability issues and determine general requirements on the project.
  • Manage the preconstruction/design schedule for electrical projects.
  • Identify and document difficult/non-standard conditions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of ten (10) years commercial construction experience with a minimum of four (4) years of estimating experience.
  • B.S. degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
  • Data center experience a plus.
  • Independent sales strengths for presentations and projects pursuits.
  • History of successfully working internally with teams and externally with customers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Independent decision making.
  • Initiates and maintains relationships with team and employees.
  • Makes authoritative decisions and recommendations having important impact on activities of the company.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment.
  • Determines program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse activities.
