Position Summary

As a Financial Reporting Associate, you will be instrumental in the financial reporting and closing processes. Your contributions will directly influence the financial statements reviewed by various stakeholders within the organization.

You will work to streamline the closing timeline and implement efficiencies related to financial systems, reporting, and audits, supporting our dynamic and rapidly growing firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate actively in the month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling account balances, recording transactions, and conducting financial analyses.
  • Oversee the cash application process, ensuring accurate matching of bank activities to the general ledger and reconciling all cash balances.
  • Take charge of the monthly accrual process to ensure accurate capture of transactions within the accounting period, including expense reports and legal accruals.
  • Timely prepare financial reconciliations and investigate variances as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other finance teams (FP&A, AP, AR, Revenue) and undertake ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems to support ongoing company growth.
  • Contribute to the control environment by establishing, refining, and maintaining operational processes.
  • Maintain a proactive approach, demonstrating curiosity and a willingness to assist colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience under US GAAP; experience in public accounting or auditing is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with strong proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP.
