Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Lincare Holdings. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering medical equipment and supplies to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Medical Equipment and Supplies: Safely transport medical equipment and supplies to customers, adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
  • Instruct Patients on Equipment Use: Provide clear instructions to patients on the safe and appropriate use of medical equipment, ensuring they understand how to utilize the equipment effectively.
  • Follow Patient Orientation Checklists: Conduct thorough patient orientation, following established checklists to ensure a seamless delivery and training experience.
  • Conduct Daily Deliveries: Execute daily delivery routes, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Establish and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers and internal team members, ensuring exceptional service and support.
  • Adhere to FDA Protocols: Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols and regulations.
  • Work On-Call: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address patient medical emergencies during evening and weekend hours.
Requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with patients, customers, and internal team members.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Manage daily delivery routes, patient orientation, and equipment inventory.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Operate with minimal supervision, making decisions and taking initiative as needed.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Utilize company software and systems to track deliveries, patient information, and equipment inventory.
