About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Design professional to join our team as a substitute instructor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for helping others achieve their dreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Graphic Design courses, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere, in an engaging and interactive format.
  • Inspire and support students with a hands-on and active approach as they progress through coursework.
  • Complete rubric grading for student projects consistently and promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with students and faculty through various channels.
  • Tally attendance and grades into the Student Information System.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and dynamic learning environment for students.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of teaching experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of field-related experience or 3+ years of experience with relevant accredited certification or degree.
  • Adept with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition).
  • Firm grasp of color theory and design.
  • Wide knowledge of website prototyping and development.
  • Flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years experience or a diploma in higher education.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to physically access and navigate each department at our facility.
