We are seeking a highly skilled ER Admissions Supervisor to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the registration staff's functions across multiple areas, including the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure accurate registration data and efficient patient flow.
- Monitor and improve staff performance, providing coaching and training as needed.
- Collaborate with department managers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Manage and coordinate the training and development of registration staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in registration or a related field, with supervisory experience in an acute care setting.
- Prior experience with Cerner Millennium and 3rd-party billing/coding preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
