About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Systems Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Specialty Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and integrating electrical and electronic systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EMI/EMC design and test strategies for electrical and electronic systems
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure compliance with MIL-STD-461G, DO-160G, and NASA-STD-4003
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop electrical and electronic systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in EMI/EMC testing and design
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in aerospace system EMI/EMC testing, electrical design, and verification
  • Strong understanding of EM physics, coupling methods, and effects applicable to aerospace systems
  • Familiarity with computational electromagnetic solvers and industry standards
