Job Summary:

The Maintenance Janitorial Assistant is responsible for assisting management in maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and ensuring the proper functioning of restaurant equipment. This role is a key member of the Maintenance Team, supporting the restaurant in achieving its cleanliness and maintenance goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
  • Assist in the daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment, including fryers, ovens, and dishwashers.
  • Perform daily trash removal and recycling duties.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant's exterior grounds, including landscaping and snow removal.
  • Unload delivery trucks and assist with inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
